The Power Fluid Team is a group of 8th grade students whose challenge is to create a machine that can move a wooden cube onto a platform using only power fluid.
Students are first trained at Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) and given some background knowledge on what exactly power fluid is and how they are going to use it during the challenge. Students get a month to design and build a prototype for their challenge. On challenge day, students return to MSOE to rebuild their models from their sketches and pictures, and put it to the test! If you want to be a part of this awesome opportunity, please see Ms. Card or I for information. You can also check out the Power Fluid Challenge website here. |
